Bottling Note:

An ongoing member of the Elements of Islay series, this blended malt Scotch whisky has been treated to a stay in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at a robust 54.5% ABV, it showcases a superb balance of smoky, zesty Islay character.

Tasting notes from the team at Master of Malt:

Nose: Quite tropical with notes of pineapple and banana, vanilla sugar, and fragrant oak. Snuffed candle and oily embers surface from afar.

Palate: Syrupy sponge cake, drizzled with citrus zest. Nutty maple brings a rich depth, with hefty peat smoke rising from the core, softened by chocolate chip cookies and vanilla cream.

Finish: Crème brûlée ties things up, while the smoke tails off sweetly.
