About The Whisky

A 10 year old single sherry cask blended malt Scotch whisky. The number 48 is often associated with divine humanity and creative expression. Our label is a homage to the 80’s. A retrospective to memorable nights, with a modern twist. A time when things were simpler and parties were wilder.

Tasting Notes

Get your dance on in vintage leather, travelling back in time with disco lights. Popping candy, cream soda, a summer breeze and fluffy dice.

Nose:
Honeycomb and sultana, followed by fresh barley and a touch of charred oak.

Palate:
Peppery Spice, sponge cake, peanut butter, grilled apricot and chocolate ice-cream.

Finish:
A lingering hint of toasted spices, honey and a touch of citrus.
